Killochan Cottage is a 2 storey period stone detached house set a 5 minute walk away from the castle within the forest. Enjoy the twitter of birds in the trees, large private gardens, and catch a glimpse of local wildlife while sipping your morning tea.
Killochan Cottage is self-catering and can sleep 8 adults across 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a ground floor lavatory. With spacious living areas for gathering with family and a modern kitchen any chef would be jealous of.

As you walk into the property, you will find yourself in the open-plan hallway with a small WC to the left and the formal dining room directly ahead of you. The stunning dining table here is perfect to accommodate your whole party for any special occasion.

The lounge is to the right of the entrance; filled with natural light and comfortable seating for watching the Smart TV or curling up in front of the wood burning stove with a good book.

Off the hallway to the left you will find the bespoke kitchen. Equipped with everything you might need and with stunning views over the garden. Off the kitchen, you will find the ground floor bedroom with En-suite.

Heading up to the first floor from the dining room, you will find three more stunning bedrooms: two featuring impressive king-size four-poster beds and one quaint twin room snuggled in the eves of the cottage.

The bedrooms of Killochan Cottage have been decorated to create a warm and luxurious Scottish theme with unique tweed wallpapers and luxurious finishing touches.

There are three bedrooms on this floor. A lovely bathroom with a shower over bath, and second more spacious family bathroom with a free-standing bath and a walk-in shower.

Heading outside through the kitchen, there is a large private garden with a lawn and a patio with garden furniture – the perfect spot to unwind after the day’s adventures with a cup of tea, or a dram of whisky in hand.
