ACTIVITIES
There are so many different activities you can choose to do both on and off-site whilst staying at Killochan. Why not have a private whisky tasting or organise your group into teams for a fun Highland Games? We can arrange treasure hunts through the estate grounds or an interactive escape room or murder mystery. You name it, we can probably do it, just ask!

THE GREAT HALL
The Great Hall is a beautiful space for a gathering of family, friends or colleagues. With ample space to mingle and relax in the comfortable and sumptuous furnishings, it’s perfectly suited to host a champagne reception, whisky tasting or afternoon tea.

BAR/GAMES ROOM
The bar is located within our games room which has everything you’d find in an authentic Scottish pub - a pool table, darts, fusball and more!

CINEMA ROOM
Scottish weather can be unpredictable at times and it’s useful to have a wet weather alternative planned.
The cinema room comes equipped with smart tv for streaming and gaming.

Our indoor gym has all you need to make sure you can keep up your routine throughout your stay.

THE DINING ROOM
Our dining room can sit up to 40 around two tables and is perfect for those cosy evening dinners with family and friends.

The perfect place to relax after a day in the great Ayrshire countryside; leave your boots at the door and kick-back with your favourite people.

FISHING
Why not try your hand with some private fishing lessons on the estate. The River Girvan flows right through the property and is renowned for excellent Atlantic Salmon, Brown Trout, and Sea Trout fishing.
We have exclusive use of a total of 2.8 miles frontage on the River Girvan, much of it double bank fishing.

CYCLING
The Estate has a network of trails winding along the River Girvan, taking you through gorgeous woodlands and through a sheep pasture.
We have seventeen mountain bikes (and helmets) on the estate for the use of our guests. Nine of our mountain bikes are E-mountain bikes.

SHOOTING & STALKING
We can run private clay pigeon shoots for your guests on the estate or if you would like to try your hand at stalking, this can be arranged on nearby estates.

HIGHLAND GAMES/ARCHERY
Highland Games are comprised of many different activities including Tossing the Caber, Haggis Hurling, Hammer Throwing, Farmer’s Dash and many more!
Highland Games also combines perfectly with other country pursuits such as falconry, archery, or clay pigeon shooting creating an event for everyone.

WALKING
If you prefer to stay on two feet, enjoy one of the walks through the grounds or take in the beautiful surrounding countryside with a longer walk. A range of local walks for all levels can be found using the links below:
