GETTING MARRIED AT KILLOCHAN

Killochan Castle and Estate is the perfect place to have your wedding. Set in 143 acres of stunning Ayrshire countryside, Killochan is hired exclusively for you and your guests. Estate wide, you can sleep a total of 40 guests and host a reception of up to 100.

The 14th century castle is sure to take your breath away both inside and out. Choose your own special spot within the estate grounds for your ceremony then get ready for an evening of great food, laughter and dancing!

At Killochan, we think it is important that each and every wedding is as special as it can be. We therefore only allow a very small number of weddings each year to ensure that each works the best for the couple and the estate.

We require a 3 night stay minimum between May - September and a 2 night stay minimum between October - April.

  • This package gives you the flexibility to plan your day with your own caterer and staff sourced externally.

    We can give a list of recommendations if desired, just let us know when you get in touch!

    Includes:

    • Exclusive-use of the castle and estate

    • Use of the dining room for wedding meal with provision of tables and chairs up to 40 guests

    • House fireplaces set for use

    • Electricity for additional music and catering requirements

    • Outdoor pavilion for dining or dancing up to 60

    • Designated car parking area

    • On-site manager throughout your stay

    NOTE: Catering, alcohol, chef, staff, crockery, cutlery, glassware, outdoor toilets, lighting to be supplied by hirer

  • This package allows you to hire the entire venue and rooms with a private chef and staff for the entire stay.

    There are 13 bedrooms included and additional across the estate cottages if needed.

    Includes:

    • The on-site manager throughout your entire stay

    • Exclusive-use of the castle and estate

    • Concierge for pre-arrival planning

    • Catering for entire stay including the wedding day (food cost is a separate cost)

    • Serving staff for entire stay up to 40 guests

    • Car parking area for guests

    • Provision of tables and chairs up to 40 guests in the dining room

    • Use of the outdoor pavilion

    NOTE: Food and alcohol cost is not included and is to be discussed directly with the chef.
