Killochan Castle was made for exploring, with its nooks and crannies and ancient stories, you’ll chance upon amazing secrets and hidden doorways.

The rich history of the castle is felt everywhere you look, from the gothic entrance hall and original stone staircase, to the fairytale Turret and Cathcart of Carleton coat of arms.

There is so much to explore both indoors and out. Set in 143 acres of breathtaking Ayrshire countryside, on the banks of the River Girvan with spectacular views of the coastline and Ailsa Craig.

STAY

Killochan Castle is always rented out exclusively and sleeps up to 24 guests in 13 bedrooms across the castle and gatehouse.

A further 18 guests can be accommodated in two beautifully appointed cottages within the grounds which are just a short walk from the main building.

There are also options for our younger guests in the way of cots and pull out beds.

Killochan Castle is exclusively yours for celebrations, weddings, country sports, filming and corporate events.

Choose to hire on a self-catered basis or opt to have a staffed stay with a private chef, butler, serving staff and housekeeping to be on hand throughout your trip .

We can arrange all sorts of activities including fishing, shooting, murder mysteries and whisky tastings so no matter what the event, there will be something for everyone!
