Check in is available from 1200hrs on the day you arrive, you may request an early check in at the time of booking.  We will then make a note of this on your booking and do our utmost to accommodate your request, however we cannot guarantee it will be available.

Please be ready to leave the room by 1200hrs, late check outs can be arranged if required.

We have a host facilities and activities such as bicycles & e-bikes, fishing, lawn games, archery, shooting, guided star gazing and many more. Please see our activities section for more details.

Yes, we always recommend pre-booking dining and leisure to avoid disappointment.  The Castle is self-catering as standard but we do have our own chefs and waiting team available.  At the point of booking we will work with you to bespoke menus to create an unforgettable dining experience.

You are welcome to use the e-bikes on the biking trials, fish the river, play lawn games or use the fire pit at any time throughout your stay.

We can contact the courses on your behalf and find out tee times, to secure a booking we may need payment up front.

Yes, please arrange directly with us in advance of your stay.

There are many restaurants within driving or local taxi distance to Killochan. Austins in Girvan and Wildings in Maidens come highly recommended. To satisfy your cravings for traditional fish & chips Graziano’s on Girvan Promenade is the place to go.

The estate has complimentary high speed wifi throughout. Wifi is also available outdoors on the front lawn or within the courtyard.

Yes, we have various channels including Sky News, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema and international channels. We also have Netflix and Amazon Prime subscriptions.

Yes. We are delighted to accommodate dogs at Killochan Castle.

Please note: All dogs should have vaccination certificates with them and are expected to have been treated in advance for worms, fleas and kennel cough, and must have a dog registration form.

All in door areas are smoke free zones. Please be aware that a breach of the non-smoking policy in your bedroom or within any room on the estate will incur an additional charge up to the full hire rate.

Smoking is permitted anywhere outdoors.
