Killochan Castle offers exceptional comfort, discreet service and tranquillity

Castle Guest Rooms
Each of the Castle’s ten majestic guest rooms tells a story. Some rooms are accessed by a spiral staircase and secret doorways. Individually designed and beautifully finished, each room has personal touches and carefully considered details. With sumptuous beds, exquisite art, period furnishings and incredible views from every window. The perfect space to relax and reflect on the joys of the day.
Estate Cottages
Within the grounds are three beautifully appointed cottages that sleep up to a further 22 guests. The perfect addition for larger groups to gather together.
The cottages retain many of their original period features, adding to their individual charm and character. Designed and finished with your comfort and enjoyment foremost in mind. Expect luxury furnishings and mod-cons, in a cosy relaxing setting. Truly a home-from-home experience. Located just a short stroll from the Castle.

Corporate Events
Our 14th-century Castle not only frames a sensational setting but offers all the key facilities for a successful business event, product launch or strategic retreat for your executive team.
If you want to refresh and recharge once the business is done, our pristine, exclusive-use estate includes inviting forests, the beautiful River Girvan fed by smaller streams and landscaped gardens, as well as extensive grounds for you to relax or take part in team-building exercises. Thanks to our location in the heart of Ayrshire, there’s no shortage of outdoor activities.
We offer both Salmon and Trout fishing as well as hiking and mountain biking right on the castle grounds. The estate includes 143 acres with a network of hiking and mountain biking trails and 2.8 miles of frontage on the Girvan River. We have fishing rods as well as 9 E- mountain bikes and 8 regular mountain bikes available for use by our guests.

Killochan Castle is an incredible setting for a period shoot. The exquisite facade of the fortress and magnificent grounds offer the perfect backdrop. Our picturesque location in beautiful Ayrshire amongst lush forests and ancient woodlands with the River Girvan flowing through is a sublime setting, no matter the season.
The exterior of the Castle has been immaculately preserved and brims with character and heritage. The Great Hall and Dining Room are furnished with lavish period pieces and exquisite art collections. Not to mention the Cathcart Coat of Arms that sits centre stage above the grand fireplace.
We sleep up to 40 guests and offer ample private parking and catering services.
